Whether it's a grooving bass line, a catchy guitar hook, a solid drum arrangement, or an impactful effect on a vocal, stitching it all together for the entire piece is the primary goal.

File Preparation
Track Organization
- Number each track with a clear and descriptive name in the order it was in the recording session. EX: 1- Kick In, 2- Kick Out, 3- Snare Top, etc.
- Remove unnecessary effects unless they are essential to the sound. Send along a dry version of the same track if effects are printed.
- Include DI tracks for guitars and bass.
- Check for clipping and distortion.
- Commit multiple takes, or “comps”.
- Consolidate edited and all tracks with start times from the beginning of the session. 0 point of the song, or measure 1. Silence is preferred on the first bar.
- Export each track separately.
- Include a track list and any notes you have about the song.
- Export a tempo map.
- All audio tracks, track list, notes, and tempo map should be in a compressed folder labeled: “Artist name/ Song name/ BPM”.
File Format
- WAV / 48kHz / 24-bit.
- Stereo tracks should be interleaved.
- Mono tracks should be mono.
Reference Tracks
- Include a rough mix.
- Provide song references, if any.
